Switch between different column view configurations

Hi!

I have been using Admin Columns for some years and I think it is super useful and I would like to take the use to the next level.

I like that it is possible to create very customized listings for custom post types but I find it limited that it is only possible to create only one view and that’s it. If I want to change the logic of my view to include different fields (I use a lot of ACF), I have to change the whole configuration of a view to get a different layout for my custom post types.
I am wondering if there is any way to store a set of confiugurations and then switch between the different views depending on what I need to look at.

For example:

I have a custom post type that allows for different types of date to be stored in the posts.
I am building a custom database with that, so I can use one post type for a variety of purposes to store data.
For example I have links, terms, and notes.
Now if I want to show the different fields related to my choice of “type” for the custom post type (ACF based), i can only do that by changing the whole configuration for admin columns for this post type.
But I would like to be able to switch the set of custom fields that are shown in my customized view, without having to change the whole configuration by editing the view in admin columns. It would be amazing if I can save a few different views and then just switch between the different views by selecting from a dropdown list for example.

Is there a way to achieve this?

I did some research with Gemini 2.5 and I found out that this functionality already exists with the table views. I also found out that there is a possibility to store custom filters. Both in combination is quite powerful.

I wish there was a way to combine both and create a custom view that way.
I think I will try to use the URL parameters to create custom links to specific settings.
Maybe that’s the way to go.
