Select with items to Export
It appears that Export only exports all records. Checking some items does not filter what is exported, which would be a very useful feature.
In lieu of re-writing how Export works, perhaps there could just be an Export Bulk action, which would export only the selected items, using the columns that are marked for export.

What you’re asking is in fact a feature that will be available in version 6 that will be released somewhere in November.
