Feature Request: Ignore Hidden Columns
We have a large number of columns on our pages and a lot of posts. In order to reduce server load, it would be great to have an option to have Admin Columns Pro not query columns that are unselected in the Screen Options. Then if a column was turned on, page would be refreshed when the Screen Options is closed.

Thanks for your input. I understand what you’re asking but I don’t think this is a good idea to implement in our plugin. The hidden columns in the screen options are nothing more than a CSS class toggle on the complete column. Altering this default behavior would cause some unexpected behavior. This default behavior is quite deep integrated in the functionality of the WordPress List tables.
We already introduced our Column Sets feature to easily switch between different sets of columns. I think that is the perfect solutions for your request.
