Empty response from API

Many of the sites I run Admin Columns Pro have decided that I need to re-enter my license code. For some reason I can’t do this – I get a message that says “Empty response from API.” I found a very old thread about the same issue here:

It seems this isn’t a common issue. Any suggestions on how to solve this?

It seems that you may be using an outdated version of Admin Columns Pro, specifically version 4.6 or below. Unfortunately, our API service no longer supports license checks for versions older than 4.6, as they are more than 3 years old.

If this is indeed the case, I suggest you download the latest version from your account and manually install it on your website through the plugin page in WordPress. When you upload the file, WordPress will recognize it as an update and prompt you to overwrite the old version with the new one.

Thanks, Stefan. I’ll remove the old versions and upload the new. Strange that the plugin hasn’t been kept up to date – I monitor all my client sites for updates and stay on top of them. I don’t know why the updates for this plugin weren’t triggered.
