Column Search filter, Not Drop down
I have a PODs custom field that holds and external id for an integration. Is there a way to create a column filter that is not an drop down of ALL saved values? I’m looking for a simple text input that potential will do a right hand or full wild card search. I’d settle for a simple text input with exact match but I’m not seeing how to do it if that is possible right now.
IE, if stored value is: 821336911
Search options might be:
821336911 – Exact Match
82133* – Right hand wild card Match
*3369* – Full wild card Match
This is currently not possible with our plugin and filter functionality.
But good news, this is exactly the feature we’re currently working on and it will probably be our next big feature.
I can’t give you a timeframe on it though at this moment.

Yes, the feature you’re looking for is Smart Filtering and it was released in October 2018.
