Automatic plugin update not available

Hi,

Since version 5.1 I can no longer update the plugin directly and instead have to manually upload the new version via FTP. Why did you make this change?

This issue should only occur if the license was for some reason deactivated. In that case if WordPress does an update check, our API will not return the package if there was an invalid license found.

Maybe you activated the license and tried it again, but in that case, WordPress did not check again for updates, so you’ll have to force an update check. You can do this as follows:

1) Go to the Dashboard -> Updates page through the left menu
2) Click on the check again button on this page to force check for updates
3) Go back to the plugins page to see if the package is now available.

Can you let me know if that works for you?

Hi Stefan

I’m facing the same issue and, no, it does not work force checking for updates.
WP did find the updates but updating still failed.

I urgently need a workaround.

If I delete the plugin and add-ons to install from scratch, will all my settings disappear?

Thanks
Björn

Familiar issue here. Pro Licence key is set but the note “To enable automatic updates enter your license key. If you don’t have a license key, please see details & pricing.” still is there — even with version 5.1.6 installed. Uninstalling, installing … nothing is working.
