Plugin Licensing

All products are licensed under the GNU general public license (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html).

Automatic updates

Automatic updates are available to customers who have purchased a license in accordance with the license they have purchased. A Single license provides automatic updates for 1 site, a Business license provides automatic updates for up to 5 sites and an Agency license provides automatic updates for unlimited sites for you or your clients. Licenses purchased under our earlier product names — Personal, Business and Developer — correspond to Single, Business and Agency respectively, and are governed by these same terms. You may not resell access to your support license key. Updates are provided for a term of 1 year from the time of purchase. After 1 year a new license will need to be purchased in order to continue receiving support and product updates.

Delivery

After we have successfully processed your payment, you will receive an email with the download link and support license key. This may take up to 1 hour to arrive but usually happens within seconds of placing the order. If you do not receive an email within this time period, please contact us. You may then login to My Account to receive support if you use the email address you used to purchase the plugin you will have instant access to all support related material.

Ownership

You may not claim intellectual or exclusive ownership rights to any of our products. All products are property of Codepress. They are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, except as set out under Warranty below. We shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or losses that occur out of the use or inability to use our products.

Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to, loss of data or profit, arising out of the use, or the inability to use, the materials on this site, even if we or an authorized representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages. If your use of materials from this site results in the need for servicing, repair or correction of equipment or data, you assume any costs thereof.

Site Content

All site content, including imagery and documentation that is published on admincolumns.com, is the property of Codepress. Any replicated site content must be authorized in advance. Content from this site shall not be used or exploited for commercial or non-commercial purposes without the prior written consent of Codepress.

Refund Policy

We will offer a refund within the first 30 days of your purchase if you are not satisfied with the plugin. The same applies to an automatic renewal: if your license has renewed and you did not intend to continue, contact us within 30 days of the renewal charge and we will refund it in full. Refunds do not apply to product upgrades, and no refunds are given more than 30 days after a purchase or renewal charge. Please note that by purchasing the plugin, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

Support

Codepress offers WordPress plugins “as is” and with no implied meaning that they will function exactly as you would like or will be compatible with all 3rd party components and plugins. We do not provide support services for WordPress itself or other WordPress plugins we have not developed. Support is offered to the owner of an active Admin Columns Pro license.

Product access, support, and automatic product updates are provided for a term of 1 year from the time of purchase. After 1 year, a new license will need to be purchased in order to continue receiving support, product updates, and keep access to the column settings. License holders cannot distribute, freely giveaway, or resell their license key. The license key is only transferable by contacting us and requesting an official transfer of the license to a new owner. The license is intended to be used on the license holder’s website(s). Client site usage is permitted in situations where the license holder maintains an ongoing relationship with the client as a consultant. Only the license holder is permitted to request support or access support resources.

License holders are not permitted to re-post support content or documentation on any external websites, social media outlets, etc. Posting screen captures of this content is also prohibited. Violation will be grounds for immediate termination of the support license and all access to support content and product updates will be discontinued.

Transactional Emails

Codepress may on occasion send you email notifications related to your plugin licenses. These transactional emails may include notification of licensing changes, changes to our terms and conditions, license expiration notices and other transactional emails related to your purchases.

Price Changes

Codepress reserves the right, at any time, to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, a support license with reasonable notice. Prices of all products are subject to change. Notice of price changes will be made on the site.

Warranty

Our plugin is guaranteed to function on a clean installation of WordPress. We do not guarantee it will function with all 3rd party plugins or with all web browsers. We are not responsible for any plugin compatibility conflicts that may occur. It is our policy to support our plugins as best we can and we will provide support for 3rd party plugin conflicts at our discretion or as time allows. We are not responsible for any data loss that may occur as a result of installing this plugin.

Data Collection

Codepress will hold your billing information (name, mailing address, email address) for the purpose of billing you in the future. We do not store any credit card information on our servers. All credit card information is held by Stripe, PayPal or Braintree, our payment processors.

When you activate your plugin license on your site, you will send us the domain name of your site. We store this data with the rest of your account data for the purpose of keeping track of your usage and determining whether or not you’ve exceeded your license limit.

Please note that by purchasing one of our products, you agree to allow us to collect the above-mentioned data and store it on our servers.

Acceptance

By purchasing our product(s) you indicate that you have read and agree with the Terms & Conditions detailed on this page. We reserve the right to change or modify the current Terms and Conditions with no prior notice.

Demo Access

By requesting a demo you indicate that you have read and agree with the Terms & Conditions detailed on this page. The provisions on changes to these Terms & Conditions set out under Acceptance apply equally to demo access.

Do not use demo environments for anything other than testing.

We aren’t responsible for what happens to the demo environment contents, and we will not help you log back in if you forget the password.

We may also completely delete everything on our demo servers for maintenance or other purposes at any time.
