WP-TYPES _wpcf_belongs
I have a site that has a Parent CPT of DISTRIBUTORS
I created a child CPT called ADDRESSES.
Then I created a Parent-Child relationship. DISTRIBUTORS are the parent of ADDRESSES>
All of this was done using WP-TYPES. I have enabled the Add-On.
However, when I go into the Admin Columns Pro admin area and select the ADRESSES CPT, I can add the TOOLSET parent relationship of DISTRIBUTORS… however there is noe “Edit” pencil provided. In other words, when I view the CPT ADDRESSES, I can see the Parent CPT that it belongs to (DISTRIBUTORS) but I am unable to do any iniline editting.
I have a different site elsewhere and this is possible.
What setting am I missing? Why can’t I do any inline editing of the Parent?
Hi Ned,
The difference between your sites, might be the version of Types that you’re using.
The new paid version of Types has a new Relationship API which is more advanced than the old version.
We did create a column for those relationships, but these columns are not (yet) editable, filterable or sortable.
