Hi Daniel,

Can you check what you see on the plugins page itself?
I think that there is something stated like ‘Automatic updates are unavailable’.
You see that message if the license for some reason is not activated (anymore).
In that case, you can do a force_update check on the dashboard page and it should fix the issue.
Can you try that and let me know if that fixes anything?

I think its an issue with a combo of three things:

1. Sometime i have to re-enter the license number (deactivate and reactivate and reenter serial)
2. Clear caches
3. Wait a few hours

Then run it again. Not sure why, but its working now.

I have this issue too. I get ‘An error occurred while updating Admin Columns Pro: Update package not available.’ when updating from 5.0.0 to 5.0.3 manually. I had renewed my license, but it had lapsed in WP Admin. I reactivated license. Logged out, logged back in again. I get the same message.

In plugins, under the plugin I have: ‘Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin’. But the license has a tick by it in the settings section.

What is force_update on the dashboard page? On the main WordPress Admin Dashboard? In the Admin Column settings? What is force_update?

Thank you.

The problems is probably fixed already since the update check is done a few times per day.
Otherwise, you can force the update check as follows:

– Go to Dashboard -> Updates in the left menu
– Click on the ‘Check again’ button to force check for updates.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi

Yes, this text was no longer present:

‘Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin’.

I ran the update manually, it did error out, but after a browser refresh, the plugin seems to have updated fully.

Thank you

Use the UPDATE page not the Plug-ins page for updating!

I had a similar issue with updating the plugins with the March 30 2020 updates.

What I discovered is that updating these using the plugins page fails, but updating using the update page of the dashboard does work.

Hope this helps others.
