The dash (-) before child pages are gone

Hello support,

I have some pages which are a child of a parent page.
When I disable the Admin Columns Pro plugin, the dashes are shown again, but when I enable the plugin, all pages show as one level, so without the dashes below the parent page.

See here the screenshots:

What can I do to show it again?

Thank you,
Yolanda, NL

Hi Yolanda,

The hierarchy of the page is only displayed when no sorting is applied. Since our plugin stores the last sorting actions, I expect that your table is sorted on one of the available columns. You should see a ‘Reset sorting’ button on top of the table. When you hit that button, you should have the hierarchy back.

Thank you Stefan, that worked.

But wouldn’t it be better if the hierarchy would stay visible, no matter what the sorting is? Showing the dash before a page just tells that it’s a child page, it doesn’t have to be shown below the parent page. Maybe a suggestion?
