Sorting Not Working
Hello there,
I’m running WordPress 4.1 and I’ve installed your Admin Columns Pro plugin and all appears to work great with the exception of sorting. When I clicking the column headers the data doesn’t sort, even though the url has:
post_type=paintings&orderby=Year&order=asc
and the arrow changes from up to down as it should. The data however doesn’t not change at all.
I’m running the WP-Types plugin to create a custom post type called ‘Paintings’ and within that type there are numerous custom fields, one being ‘Year’ as the URL above outlines.
I’ve tried sorting other types as well (pages, media, and so on) but nothing sorts properly.
Any thoughts?
nevermind, I had another plugin called ‘Reorder Post Types’ and it was causing the issue. I had to disable ordering within the admin in the Reorder Post Types settings.
I’m glad to see you’ve found a fix yourself (and that it wasn’t in Admin Columns :-)). I’m marking this topic as resolved!
