Smart Filtering between dates
I have columns set for number of “downloads” and “views” for my post type set as number field types. I am trying to figure out how to smart filter with these adding in differentiators for a time period (ex: display posts with less than 100 views in the past year). This doesn’t seem possible when using a number field…and the date smart filter addition seems to display results based on publish date rather than tying those views or downloads to the selected date. Is there a way to accomplish this that I’m missing?
If I understand you correctly, it will not be possible what you want. While filtering by date can narrow down the posts you see, the ‘downloads’ and ‘views’ columns usually reflect the total accumulated count since the post was published. They don’t capture how many views or downloads happened within a specific timeframe. So, filtering by date won’t actually show you the view/download count for that period. I hope that makes sense.
