Show Yoast Index or Not

Hi,

I’m wondering if there’s a way to show whether a page is set for indexing or not in yoast.

I’d assume this might be possibel with custom fields?

Is there anything along those lines – might be interesting for others too?

Best,

Tim

Hello Tim,

The robots setting per post indicated if a post can and may be indexed.
We don’t have any specific Yoast that display this specific Yoast setting, but using our Custom Field column might indeed work. You could add the custom field column and look for the ‘_yoast_wpseo_meta-robots-adv’ field.
It will only show specific settings. It will be empty if it uses the default Yoast settings.
You could use the following filter to alter that display behavior (if you’re a developer) to display the actual default settings when the value is empty.

I hope this answers your question.
