Pods – showing field of relationship parent
Hi there,
Is there any way I can show a custom field from the Pods relationship parent of each listing as a column at all?
For instance, I have a list of events and I can display the venue that is related. However, I also want to display the city name of that venue which is stored in the venue Pod content, but not in the event.
I see there is a display dropdown which gives you a list of options of things to display, but my custom field (city) isn’t in there.

Unfortunately, this is currently not possible in our relation column.
You could set the display of the field to ‘ID’ and hook the following hook to retrieve the meta value for the relation yourself:
