Name field Column not showing data on Gravity Forms entries page

In previous Admin Columns versions, the name field could be selected in the add column dialogue. When configured, the first and last name would appear within the column, without the hassle of having to configure two separate columns.

I have a name field in Gravity Forms. Have selected Name, instead of the First and Last. Yet while Name produces a column, it is devoid of a Name. Selecting First and Last into two separate columns works as expected.

I tested it on the Twenty Twenty-Three theme and deactivated all plugins except Admin Column Pro and Gravity Forms, but it still didn’t resolve. I also applied an Admin Label to the name field to see if that would force it – it did not.

Hi Zoe, thanks for contacting us. This appears to be an issue with Gravity Forms itself. The column value shown on the Entries page is fully controlled by Gravity Forms and not by Admin Columns Pro. You can confirm this by temporarily disabling Admin Columns Pro. Even with our plugin disabled, the Name column value still does not render while all their other columns still display a correct value, which indicates the issue originates in Gravity Forms.

This is something that would need to be fixed by the Gravity Forms team.

That is odd, hey?

It worked perfectly in versions prior to the v7x releases.

I’ll reach out to GF and see if there is anything they need to do to make GF compatible with v7x ACP.
