How to sort the default columns/taxonomy’s

Hello,

we are trying to sort default taxonomy’s or custom taxonomy’s but we cannot find the checkbox to activate this. It only shows Type, Label and Width. What are we doing wrong?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

Hi Holger,

Taxonomy columns should be sortable, let’s try and fix this issue! Could you help us by providing some more information?

1. Are the sorting, filtering and editing icons visible in the Admin Columns Settings screen for your taxonomy columns? You should see three icons like the ones in this image:
2. If these aren’t visible, could you verify that the plugin Admin Columns Pro is enabled?
3. If Admin Columns Pro is enabled, could you verify that the plugin CodePress Admin Columns is disabled?

With kind regards,
Jesper

I’m having the same issue. Custom taxonomies are not sortable. No icons. I only have the Admin Columns Pro plugin.

You have to use the column type “Taxonomy”, which is under the “Custom” label, instead of the default WordPress ones (which are called Tags, Category).

Taxonomy

This custom Taxonomy column will support sorting, filtering and editing!
