Filtering woocommerce products by author causes variations to appear in list

Hi,

We have a strange issue. We created a filter by author column in admin columns pro. However since our variations are also assigned to that author they to appear in the product list. How can we omit product variations from appearing in the product list?

I can not reproduce the issue. The “Products” list table should only display the “products” post type. Could you add the Post Type column and double check this?

Products WC

Maybe what you are seeing are the “variable products” which is a subtype of products.

Hi Tobias,

Yes we are seeing the product_variation post type in these empty rows. They are a variation of a variable product.

Our filtering feature should not include other post types.
Are you aware of custom hooks/filters on your website related to our plugin or the WP_Query?
I suspect that a third-party plugin or maybe something in your theme is adding the extra post type to the page based on a post_author parameter that might be triggered by using our filtering feature.
