Filtering users by taxonomy term – broken since 6.4+?
Hey guys,
We’ve got a few sites where we’re using custom taxonomies to organize users (e.g., into groups) and as of the 6.4.x update, filtering by these user taxonomy terms no longer works – where it did previously.
The taxonomies are being selected, loaded, and saved to the user via an ACF taxonomy field on the user profile, and the column is set to display from that field – however, the filtering has no effect (brings up all users, as opposed to just the user in the selected term).
We are aware that user taxonomies aren’t officially supported by WP, but it not working now seems like a regression of some sort.
Any insight you can provide is appreciated – also happy to provide more info if needed.

We’re having the same issue, but only started using the plugins. Filters work for taxonomies on posts (and custom post types), but don’t work on users. Let me know if you need any configs from us.
@Janine can you contact me at support@admincolumns.com and send me the setup of your taxonomy column on user? Did you use a plugin like ACF, because by default there are no taxonomies for users.
