Filter – Wrong values on Custom Field
Hi,
in the Orders page setup, I set a column like this:
Type: Product
Display: Custom Field
Field: (I selected a custom field)
When I went to the Orders page, if I Add a Filter based on the above column, it shows me a list of Product titles.
Instead, I expected your plugin to show me a list of distinct values taken from the selected custom field.
Can this be fixed?

Thanks for your feedback.
Filtering for the product column always filters on the actual product, it does not on the display value which is in your case a custom field for the related product. There are currently nog plans to change this behavior.

Obviously, filtering a product’s custom field based on product’s titles is worthless.
I think that filtering orders based on a product’s attribute is as important as filtering based on “Product Categories” or “Product Tags”.
I hope you could consider this as a priority feature for all of your customers. (otherwise, I should look for a different solution)
