there is any way to make a order by activated by default?
I’m using the custom fields, and I would that a ordey by is activated int he view by default.

Hi Alvaro,
When you enable sorting for a column and use sorting on that column, we save that sorting behavior. When you return to the overview, it should still be sorted on that column.
It’s not really set as default but more like saved preferences until you sort on something else.
You can always reset the sorting preferences on the Admin Columns setting page per post type.

thanks for the answer,I understand, but I want this for all my users, for see the list ordered when entering to the page.
The user login , and acces to the list, and then it appear ordered by a field by default.
Can you help me? Is there any way to make by code? Not problem.

I create a link in the menu by URL, and pass the filter parameters in the url for access directly.

We are aware that filtering on large datasets can be a bit slow.
