Filter ACF Custom Field requires pressing Filter button twice
I have a custom field called Author for a custom post type of Article. I have set up the admin view to filter by Author, but have found that I have to press the Filter Button twice after selecting an Author from the dropdown in order for the filter to work. The first press results in ‘No Articles found’…but the 2nd press returns the results expected.
After that each time I press the filter button it toggles between No Results Found and the correct results.
I had thought it might be due to a call to the ‘pre_get_posts’ function, as referenced in another thread, but disabling this call did not make any difference.
Anyone have suggestions or ideas of what I could try?
Do you maybe have another search plugin installed?
I remember a similar use case where it was a conflict with another search plugin.
The use case was even there, even when our plugin was disabled, so it might be worth checkout out.
Otherwise, could you try to deactivate other plugins, just to see if the problem still exist afterward?
It will rule out if there are any conflicting issues with other plugins.
