Feature request: filter custom post types in Media Library
This might be a very particular need, but for me it would be very useful if I could filter on custom post types in the Media Library.
What I would like to do is show only the images that were uploaded to a specific post type in a certain month.

I second this request.
There are various uses for such a feature mostly when using Bulk Actions. One quick use I can think of would be regenerating thumbnails uploaded to a specific post type due to a theme adjustment.

I’m realizing that I am unfortunately unable to use the functionality at the moment due to using ElasticPress to power the the backend search. It seems that because this queries the DB directly, the ElasticPress query is not modified like with a WP_Query and the filter is not applied.
