Feature Request: Attachment File Size
Hi,
It would be great to have the file size of the Featured Image (especially in custom taxonomies) so that at a glance i could see which user has accidentally uploaded a 4Mb image to their post!

Thanks for your feedback. This sounds like a useful feature. But can you explain to me how you’ve added a feature image to custom taxonomy? I do understand this for (custom) post types, but not for taxonomies.
Besides this, did you already found our ‘Images’ column for Post Types? This column returns the count and total sizes of the images used in the content. At this moment the featured image or images added by custom fields are not included in this column, but it could easily be added by using a hook for this column. If you’re interested I could send you a snippet that adds the featured image to this column.
You might want to try this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/imsanity/ that limits the stored image size.
