Fatal error when activating ACP7.0.12…?

Hi there…

…running into problems every time I try to Activate the plugin (7.0.12) on a site I’m working on.

When I enable debugging, I get this:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class "Composer\Autoload\ComposerStaticInitAdminColumnsPro" not found in /home2/___/___/wp-content/plugins/admin-columns-pro/vendor/composer/autoload_real.php:30
Stack trace:
#0 /home2/___/___/wp-content/plugins/admin-columns-pro/vendor/autoload.php(22): ComposerAutoloaderInitAdminColumnsPro::getLoader()
#1 /home2/___/___/wp-content/plugins/admin-columns-pro/admin-columns-pro.php(48): require_once('/home2/barking/...')
#2 /home2/___/___/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(341): {closure}('')

It’s like it’s missing a key class, but I don’t know how to fix – help, please? :)

Hi Mike, it looks like a file (or possibly the entire vendor folder) is missing. Could you try deleting the plugin from your server and reinstalling it?

If you are using FTP, please make sure no files are skipped when uploading the admin-columns-pro folder. But I recommend installing the plugin using the ZIP file via the WordPress dashboard instead.

Very strange – but, yes, that seemed to solve the problem (uploading everything via FTP). I had been trying to install it via WordPress (providing/uploading the ZIP), but that was causing problems. Maybe there’s something on my server that was omitting certain files from being created(?).

Anyway – erm, thanks. :)

It does sounds like your server alters the ZIP during the installation, that is a bit odd :) Glad that the FTP workaround worked and everything works as it should now. Thanks for the update.
