Export / Import PHP plugin

Hi,

I want to export to PHP and use a plugin with the code.
I tried in a multise. Export in a subsite (A1). Then create the plugin. Activate in the network. And then as I go to one subsite (A2), That doesn’t have the admin columns config, all columns remains the same. So the plugin with the exported PHP code is not doing something…

Is a bug? or maybe I’m missing something ?

Thanks

This should work just fine. You can export your columns settings from subsite (A1), place them in a plugin and network activate it, and then see the same columns in all other subsites for that particular posttype (or user, comments, media etc.).

Have you used the plugin example from our documentation? How to use php exported column settings

Could you send me the plugin to our support email?

Hi Tobias,
I wasn’t using your template and that was the problem. Now is working using the generated code inside this template. Thanks! :)

Excellent :)

I added an extra step to the the documenation to make it more clear that the exported column settings should be placed inside an init action. Thanks for the feedback!
