Enhancement: Custom views
It would be useful to have an option to copy an existing or create a new “view” for a post type. Then provide an option in the menu to switch between views. Each view could be customized to have certain columns, default sorts, filters, etc. for the intended task. This could be used for events, posts, pages, custom posts, etc.
I believe that what you’re asking is exactly what our ‘Column set’ feature provides.

It is not shared between post types though since post types can have it own specific columns.
