Easy way to rename Filter button to “Apply Filter”
One of my more demanding users is requesting I rename the Filter button at the top of the admin column to “Apply Filter” instead because they say that is what it does. I just thought I would ask if you happen to have a hook for that or anyway to do this easily before I just tell her “no”.

The Filter button is actually a default WordPress button that is already on the table, at least on most tables.
We do add the button on the User and Taxonomy column though and we use a translation function to make it able to translate. For that button you could alter our translation file and change Filter to ‘Apply Filter’, but it will be overwritten in the next release.
Thank you for the suggestion. Luckily that person doesn’t work here anymore so I can just let this go until another person (hopefully with less rigid views) comes along.
