Deleted Custom Taxonomy issue

Spotted an issue that occurred when I removed a custom taxonomy (that is, I trashed all terms and removed the actual register_taxonomy() function).
Basically, the Custom Taxonomy column was still present in the Posts listing page – with object errors in the column. I suppose the issue stems from the fact that I could not remove the now obsolete Taxonomy from the Admin Columns Pro settings because it was no longer available as an option to ‘remove’.
I temporarily reinstated the old custom taxonomy and was able to remove it from Admin Columns Pro to fix the issue.
Easy enough to fix but thought I’d mention it.

Correct. But there is even an easier way. Once you deregister a taxonomy, all you have to do is to go to the column settings page and click “update”. The new settings will be stored and the taxonomy column is now removed.
