Curl error when trying to "Update License" Key

I am trying to activate the Admin Columns plugin, and when i enter my License Code and click on the “Update License” button. I am getting the following error:

cURL error 7: Failed connect to api.admincolumns.com:443; Connection refused

* Connection refused
* Failed connect to api.admincolumns.com:443; Connection refused

Ok. I still have this CURL error. however some more information has come to light.

We are a Development shop. We have a internal Website Development server. Any site on our development server we can not get the license to activate on.

Websites on our production servers that have public IPs the plugin will active on.

Is there any reason on your end that would Reject our development server from getting through the CURL request?

Hi Robert, we are not blocking any incoming requests on our API server. It is most likely a setting on your development server. If you are still having this issue please send me an email at support@admincolumns.com.
