Composer Support

Any plan to add composer support for this? It’s the only Premium plugin I regularly use that doesn’t appear to support it!

Many thanks

That’s a valid question. We already do have a feature request for this at Github.

But it is not set to any milestone yet. I’ll ask our composer expert if he can come up with a good solution for this and if he can attach a milestone to this ticket.

As a workaround, you can actually include our product in a composer file.
I did not try it myself, but when you’re logged in, you can have a look at the download section and the structure of the download links. It will look like this

https://api.admincolumns.com/?command=download&subscription_key={yourkey}&product_key={basename}&version={version}

Where you have to fill in the variables yourself.

yourkey: The license key for your subscriptions. I advise you to store this in an Environment variable
basename: the basename of the plugin you’re trying to receive: admin-columns-pro or ac-addon-acf
version: The specific version that you want to retrieve, leave empty or omit for the latest version

In order to get the latest version for our products, you could try to filter that from this API call.
