Column Doesn’t Have Filtering or Sorting
I have a column in my user area called Active Membership. This is from the Memberpress plugin I use and I can display it even without Admin Columns Pro. Unfortunately, even with Admin Columns Pro I cannot filter or sort by this column for some reason. The option to turn on filtering or sorting just isn’t there in the Admin Columns Settings area.
Is there a logical reason for this and can it be fixed in some way?
When you are using a 3rd party plugin like Memberpress, they will add their own columns with their own logic. They can not be made sortable because we would need to know how they store their data, and then create an integration for that particular plugin. As you can understand there are many plugins and we have limited resources. As of now, we do not have Memberpress on our roadmap.
But.. you could try and use our custom field column. Most plugins store their extra post data within a custom field. All you need to do is add the custom field column and select the meta key, and it will be sortable/filterable.
