Click on inline edit and focus jumps to top of page
I’m editing a field (e.g., home price on a builder’s site), well down the page on an available home, and click on the edit icon. The page focus jumps to the top of the page. If I scroll back down, the field is open for editing. Chrome/Windows 10. Not a very convenient “feature.” How can this be disabled (or fixed)? Thank you.

Thanks for reporting this. I will make sure this will be looked at because I can totally understand that is not workable for you.
It might take some days before the process of research, patching and releasing is done. But we’ll make sure it’s posted here!

Sorry for the late response.
I did have a look at the code and I believe there is not something in our code that should cause this behavior.
Do you have some custom JS script in your theme loaded that does scroll the page based on a hash sign?
Or could try to deactivate some other plugins to see if that fixes the problem?
I like you to rule out if this is indeed a conflict with another plugin so we can look for a solution.
