Bulk taxonomy removal doesn't work

I see ACP has an option for Bulk add/remove/edit of objects.
In my case, I have a custom post, Articles, attached to a custom taxonomy, Events.
So there is a “Bulk Edit” button on the Articles list for Events.
The problem is, when I select Articles and pop open the dialog box, typing in to the box does not successfully find the term for removal via dynamic search. In fact, it does not find anything…
The progress meter then completes up to the number of posts selected – but, since no term had been selected, this results in it doing nothing. The tterm is never removed.

Can you maybe have a look at your browers console and see if there is an error for the ajax call that is done when searching for your term?
And can you tell me which column you use to display your Events taxonomy? Did you use the default column created by WordPress based on your taxonomy setting -> admin_column = true, or do you use our Taxonomy column? I’m not able to reproduce the issue yet with a custom post type and taxonomy.

Version 5.6 is at this moment more than 1,5 years old.
In the current version, removing taxonomies in bulk works as expected.
Have you shipped v6? I saw the blog post in November.
Also, is there a comparison table for free vs Pro?
