Better inline editing of identical terms…?
Hi there,
When you have identical terms for a taxonom these are not distinguishable when you use inline editing.
Example:
Cars
– new
– old
Bikes
-new
– old
The taxonomy setup above provides the term “new” twice. While you can differentiate the terms on the regular WP taxonomy settings page via the terms slugs you can’t do that with ACP – any ideas?

I guess you only need a solution for selecting taxonomies.
With inline edit it is also possible to add new taxonomies and there you have the same problem. I think that creating the term via the Taxonomy screen is good enough for this problem. But I understand the problem that selecting a term with the same name can be confusing. Maybe showing the parent as part of the title is a solution. Anyway we have to search for a good solution so I’ve made a ticket for this on Github.
