Automatic license update for renewed plugin?
Is there a way to automate the license update on sites that use Admin Columns Pro? It’s a genuine PITA to have to access each site right after renewal — Settings >> License — to have the site recognize that the license has been renewed. We use MainWP if that helps.
The plugin should check at least once a day if the license is updated. It might happen that if you let the license expire or renew just in time, the information was just checked before, meaning that it will take some time before it is checked again.
Also, one important note, is that at this moment, our license API does not work for versions below 4.6, meaning that you will need to update the plugin manually before this automated mechanism works again.
Another option is that you enable auto-renewals on your account. In that case, the plugin will never show a message that it is about to expire or is already expired.
