authors cant see acf pro fields
Hello,
administrator and editors can see the acf pro field addon (i.e. taxonomy)
but for authors, it doesn’t show the field values.. please advise.
Do you mean that authors see no value for the ACF columns on your overview page?
If that is the case, do you know if you have any custom code that restricts post for a specific role?
It’s good to know that we use the ACF get_field() function to retrieve the value that goes through the pre_get_posts hook. Based on your issue, I expect that you’re using a custom hook to restrict content from roles and that is not reflected to the admin columns.
It was a permission issue with the wordpress core.
