Actions Column as first item, but still need title….
I am trying to create a custom look form my columns and the problem I am facing is I want to use the actions column first (as icon), but the problem is on mobile, you lose the title field and the use cannot see what they are editing unless the expand the accordion. Any ideas how I can get around this?
The default behavior on mobile for WordPress, is that the primary column is the column that is visible on the overview page. When you add the Action column, that becomes the primary column. The primary column is the one where WordPress add their main logic for the links, quick edit etc.
Unfortunately, this also means that the action column will be the one that is displayed on the mobile screen. We don’t want to change that default behavior in WordPress, so I don’t really see a way to work around this other than overwrite the default behavior with CSS yourself.
