Business Directory Premium columns no longer available in Admin Columns Pro

Environment:

  • Admin Columns Pro: 7.1.4
  • Business Directory Premium: 5.6.6
  • WordPress: 7.0.3
  • Confirmed on ACP 7.0.4 as well (earliest version currently available for download)

Issue:
Business Directory Premium previously integrated with Admin Columns Pro to let BD custom fields (e.g., listing fields, category, expiration date, etc.) be added as columns on the BD Listings admin screen. This was confirmed in ACP6.x. As of ACP 7.x, none of the BD column types appear in the “Add Column” picker anymore — only default WP columns are available.

What I’ve tried:

  • Confirmed BD Premium is active and its fields work normally on the front end / in BD’s own admin screens
  • Reset the Admin Columns settings for the Listings table — no change
  • This worked correctly on ACP 6.x

Suspected cause:
I understand ACP 7.0 introduced a breaking change where custom column types built for pre-7.0 versions are incompatible and third-party integrations need to register through the updated hooks. My guess is BD Premium’s integration hasn’t been updated for the new registration system.

Questions:

  1. Is Business Directory Premium a known/supported integration for ACP 7.x, or does it need an update from their side?
  2. If it needs an update on BD’s end, can you point me (or them) to the specific hook changes needed — e.g., anything like the ac/column/types/proac/column/types change mentioned in the 7.1.3 changelog?
  3. Is there any way to get access to the last 6.x release as a temporary workaround while this gets sorted out?

Thanks for your feedback.
Let me anwers your questions below.

1) We do not manage any plugin integration for Business Directory Premium. If there is a part in their plugin that integrates with our plugin, it needs to be addressed on their side.

2) The best place to start when you want to make any integrations or columns compatible with ACP v7 is: https://docs.admincolumns.com/article/117-how-to-upgrade-from-v6-to-v7

3) The last release for version 6 was 6.4.24. When you copy the download URL from the account page, you can see that there is a version number in the params. You can change the version number to 6.4.24 to get that release from your account page. We don’t offer the download actively in the account page, but you can still access it by using this workaround.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
