How to change the (smart) filter return values
Hi everyone,
I already tried any filter what could be relevant (in my opinion) for the following issue. I want to return the labels of a taxonomy field (but from a custom (acf) field). I already return in the acf field the term name (not the id) but in admin column pro i still see the ids of the terms in my (smart) filter. All worked fine to “manipulate” the return format in the column cells itself but the “values” in (smart) filter remain as integer. How can I reformat this as well, is a useful thing for my backend editors.

PS: Yes, I want to use custom field in this case and not the taxonomy field.
Just for clarification: with “any filter” I mean the filter hooks you provide. :-)

Could you please share a screenshot of your column setup (or an export via Tools) along with the current hooks you have related to that column?
Also, will the value always contain a single term, or can it contain multiple terms?
